The Reports page provides a multilayered browsing utility for accessing the waste management programme information for a given Member State. Reports are organized by country and by report year, and a PDF file version is always downloadable using the links on the right side of the page. Reports allows a users to browse through all of the structural information as well as the waste data for each specific site in the country. You can click on the images to the right to see examples.
Reports has three main methods for obtaining information: browsing, text search, and whole report download. The PDF files that can be downloaded from the right-side links are the standard report output issued by the IAEA using the NEWMDB. These are available for each year that a country reports. The other option is to simply browse the information using the country and year links. Selecting a country or year will narrow the search accordingly. Once a specific country and year are selected, the left-side will change to report navigation. The search function is currently not enabled, but will be available soon.
A special feature of the Reports page is the GeoSearch. This interactive map allows for browsing by location using maps of the world, regions, and specific countries. GeoSearch gives the relative locations of facilities and/or major waste management sites and provides a direct link to the information for them. GeoSearch is currently implemented using Google MapsTM. Start by clicking on a flag. Flags are only displayed for countries that have submitted data.
Next, you can click on the "click for sites view" link to see the sites within a country on the map. These are also clickable and will take you to the relevant Report information for the site. Or, you can click on the report date links to go straight to all country information.
